Becoming a UGC creator in Germany requires no audience and no expensive gear. It requires four things: a few videos, a clean registration, prices that hold up and a findable profile.

1. Shoot three or four sample videos

With products you own, at home, on your phone. A 30 second testimonial to camera, an unboxing, a demo with close-ups. Two out of three in the niche you want to cover.

Nobody commissioned these videos, and that is normal. They show how you speak, frame and edit.

2. Register your activity

The point where most people get stuck, and it belongs before the first order. Without a proper invoice, companies and agencies cannot pay you, which cuts you off from the best clients.

Depending on how your work is structured this is either a trade registration or a freelance activity, and for beginners usually under the small business rule. Details in registering a business for UGC.

3. Set prices that hold

70 to 150 euros for a first testimonial, more in Munich and Frankfurt, less in Berlin and Leipzig. Do not start too high without reviews and do not undersell yourself.

And quote like a media supplier: base deliverable, number of revisions, ad rights per platform and duration, rush delivery as an option. German clients expect exactly that breakdown.

4. Make your profile findable

A photo showing your face, one line with niche and languages, three or four videos with the best first, packages with visible price and turnaround. A profile without prices gets fewer orders.

5. Land the first order

A marketplace, where brands arrive already intending to buy, plus twenty to thirty direct approaches to brands already running social ads.

On UGC MATCH the profile is free, payment is held at order and released on approved delivery, and you keep 90%.
