I am Andrea, a UGC content creator in Granada. I record short vertical videos for brands that want their product to be showcased by a real person rather than a studio setup.
Currently, my content revolves around beauty: skincare, makeup, and also fragrance. This is a category that does not forgive the fake. It is immediately noticeable when someone recites a memorized script, and a video that sounds rehearsed performs worse than one filmed in the bathroom with natural light. That is why I work closely with reality: close-up textures, genuine application, honest first impressions, and before-and-after shots when the product allows. If something hasn’t worked for me, I prefer to say it, because that is exactly what builds trust for the rest.
Fragrance is a different case, and I am particularly interested in it for that reason. It is the hardest to sell in a video because the product cannot be seen or demonstrated: it has to be described. This forces you to work with words, gestures, and context instead of relying on a close-up of texture, making it a different exercise than skincare.
I work in both Spanish and English. For a brand that sells outside of Spain, this means being able to use the same idea in two markets without having to re-record from scratch, and with a version that sounds native in each language rather than translated.
What I deliver is a vertical video designed for a paid feed: a hook in the first two seconds, the product being used rather than described, and a clear reason to watch until the end. I can record the same idea with three or four different openings when the brand wants to test which one holds attention, which is usually the fastest way to learn something before allocating media budget behind it.
Regarding how to work together, tell me what the content is for and where it will be used, because a video for someone who does not know you and one for your product page are not the same thing. And tell me what I can and cannot claim: in cosmetics, there are regulated claims, the responsibility lies with the advertiser, and a short list of what cannot be said avoids having to repeat the entire recording.
The clothing, the setting, the exact words, and the rhythm are better left to me. I know what sounds natural in my voice, and a tightly scripted line-by-line script is exactly what turns a video into an advertisement.
