A well built package does half the negotiation on its own. If the client understands in ten seconds what they get, they do not ask for a discount, they ask for a date.
The three tiers
Basic
One video, one hook variant, one revision, organic rights for six months. It exists so people try you.
Standard
Three videos, two variants each, two revisions, same rights, lower price per video. This is the one you want to sell.
Extended
Five or six videos, multiple variants, subtitles, ad rights for a defined period. For brands testing in paid media.
Why the price goes in dollars
Because your opportunity cost is not in pesos. A rate in pesos is out of date within weeks and forces you to renegotiate with every client. Set the price in dollars and invoice as required: the foreign client understands immediately, and so does the local one, because it is the reference they already use for any service.
The add ons that raise the ticket
- Ad rights, by far the most important line.
- Extra hook variants, little work and high value for anyone running paid media.
- Neutral Spanish alongside Argentine Spanish, which is what lets the video run in Mexico, Colombia or Spain.
- Rush delivery, with a stated surcharge.
- Horizontal format alongside vertical.
The mistake that freezes your rate
Putting everything in the basic tier. If rights and variants are already in, you have nothing left to sell the returning client.
How to write them
In lines, not paragraphs. Number of videos, variants, revisions, rights, timing, price. Buyers compare quickly, and long copy loses to a list.
