You do not need a studio. You need one corner that always works, and a way to solve the three real problems of filming in an Argentine apartment: space, noise and light that changes with the season.

Pick one corner and keep it

Find the spot in your home where window light comes in without direct sun and where the background does not distract. A plain wall, a tidy bookshelf, a light curtain.

Mark on the floor where the tripod goes and where you stand. A fixed set saves you twenty minutes per shoot and makes all your pieces look consistent, which is exactly what a brand wants to see in a portfolio.

Street noise

In Buenos Aires, Rosario or Cordoba, noise is enemy number one. Buses, roadworks, neighbours.

Three solutions that cost nothing: film early or after nine at night, move away from the window facing the street, and fill the room with soft surfaces. An open wardrobe with clothes behind the camera absorbs a great deal of echo.

And one that does cost but changes everything: a lavalier microphone. It is the best purchase before any light or any lens.

Power cuts

In summer they happen. The rule is simple: never depend on wifi or a computer to film, charge the phone fully before starting, and offload the material as soon as you finish.

A small power bank saves you a working day.

Small spaces, solved

If the room is small, film closer and use detail shots. Most UGC works better that way: hands, product, face, not wide shots of the living room.

Seasons change your schedule

In winter usable light ends early. In summer the afternoon sun comes in hard and blows out the image.

The fix is to always have a thin white fabric over the window to diffuse, and to accept that your filming hours change four times a year. Creators who plan by season deliver on time; those who improvise do not.

The real minimum kit

A phone with a good camera, a tripod, a lavalier microphone, a white fabric and a small LED light. That is enough to invoice. Everything else is optional and can wait for the third client.
