How much a UGC campaign costs in Brazil depends on three things, and none of them is the size of the creator: how many videos, which usage rights, and how much production work the video requires.

The real ranges

Single video, beginner creator: 150 to 400 reais. Single video, creator with a portfolio: 500 to 1,500 reais. Package of three to five videos: 1,500 to 6,000 reais. Recurring monthly package, eight to twelve videos: 5,000 to 15,000 reais. Paid media rights: usually 30 to 100 per cent of the video fee, depending on term and territory. Whitelisting, when the ad runs from the creator's account: billed separately, by period.

Categories that require travel, a set, cast or equipment cost more. So do regulated categories, where legal approval and rework are expected.

Where the budget actually goes

The calculation most brands get wrong is not the price of the video, it is the cost of what does not appear in the quote.

Product shipping, which in Brazil can cost more than a small creator's fee.

Internal approval time. Every round of revisions is people cost, and three rounds turn a cheap video into an expensive one.

Discarded videos. If half are never used, the cost per live piece has doubled.

Rights bought without need. Paying for two years of global exclusivity for a thirty day test is the most common way to burn budget.

How to buy intelligently

Buy volume with lead time, not urgency. An order of ten videos with four weeks costs far less than two videos for the day after tomorrow.

Buy the rights you will actually use. Start with ninety days of paid media in Brazil and extend if the creative performs.

Separate the production fee from the rights fee, because they are different things and become easier to negotiate and renew.

Pay on the agreed date. In the Brazilian market, a brand that pays properly gets schedule priority and a better price by the third campaign.

What is not worth saving on

A bad brief costs more than any discount you obtained. Product sent late burns the whole schedule. And a creator chosen purely on price delivers video that fails approval, which brings you back to the first item on the list.
