Electric scooters went from novelty to regulated product, and regulation brought new objections. Spanish buyers no longer ask whether it is fun, they ask where they are allowed to ride and what happens if they get stopped.
The three live objections
Where you can ride, whether insurance and a helmet are required, and what the real range is uphill. All three are better shown than told: the creator climbs a hill locals recognise, shows the battery before and after, and says the number without dressing it up.
Rules change city by city
Every council has its own ordinance, and what holds in one city fails in the next. A video stating "you can ride on the pavement" is a liability. The correct wording is that it depends on the municipality and the local rules are worth checking, said by someone who clearly checked them.
Honest range
Catalogue kilometres are measured on flat ground, with light load and constant speed. Nobody rides like that. A creator showing their real daily commute, with hills and their own weight, sells more units than the spec sheet and generates far fewer returns.
After sales is the hidden argument
Battery, tyres, service point. Anyone spending several hundred euros on a vehicle wants to know a workshop exists. A short video showing the repair point or a spare part arriving answers a doubt almost no brand addresses.
Seasonal, but not only summer
The strong season runs March to October, but September has its own peak: back to the office and back to class, with the daily commute as the argument. Filming in August to publish on the first of September is the most profitable move of the year in this category.
