Mexico has a large population that still does not trust financial applications, and no amount of advertising spend changes that on its own. Creator video works here because trust transfers between people in a way it does not transfer from a brand.

The objection is not the product, it is the fear

People are not confused about what a payment app does. They are worried about losing money, being unable to reach a human, or the account being frozen. A video that says nothing about those fears is answering a question nobody asked.

Show the screen, slowly

Registration, the first transfer, where the money appears, what the confirmation looks like. Financial products are bought on the belief that nothing surprising will happen, and the only way to prove that is to show the boring sequence in full.

Use somebody who was sceptical

A creator who says they did not trust this kind of app and explains what changed their mind is far more persuasive than an enthusiast. Scepticism named out loud is what converts a sceptical viewer.

Regulatory wording is not optional

Financial promotion rules require specific disclosures and the platforms enforce their own additional restrictions. Give the creator the compliant phrasing and check the final cut before it runs, because a takedown mid campaign costs more than the review did.

Cash is still the competitor

For a large share of the market the alternative is not another app, it is physical cash and a corner shop. Frame the benefit against that reality rather than against a competitor product that the viewer has never used either.
