You do not need twenty samples. You need three, filmed well, covering the formats Italian brands actually buy.
The three formats to have
1. The demonstration
Take a product you already use, show it working from start to finish. It has to answer "how do I use it" before anyone asks. It is the most requested format and the easiest to shoot well.
2. The spoken testimonial
You, close up, explaining why the product solves a concrete problem. This is where it shows whether you are comfortable on camera, which is exactly what the brand wants to check.
3. The unboxing with context
Not just opening the box: saying what you expected, what you found, whether it matches. It shows you can build a small narrative.
How to shoot them in one afternoon
Pick three products you own and genuinely like: sincerity shows. Film near a window at a moment without direct sun. Record audio with earphones or the phone mic at half a metre, not two. Do three takes per piece and keep the second: the first is stiff, the third is tired.
What to avoid
- Loud music over the voice.
- Animated text over your face.
- Products you would never use: it shows.
- The logo of a brand you never worked with.
How to present them
With a title stating the category, not your name. "Demonstration, supplement" beats "Project 1". The viewer is looking for the category, not your filmography.
