They do not search "content creator". They type category plus format plus place: "UGC creator beauty Madrid", "Spanish product review video", "UGC creator fashion Barcelona". If those words do not appear in your profile and your captions, you do not appear in their results.
The three places they find you
- Your profile on a marketplace, where the searcher is already there to hire.
- Your Instagram and TikTok bio, with the category stated, not just your name.
- A pinned post clearly saying you work with brands and showing one example.
What to post to attract buyers, not an audience
The content that brings clients is not the content that brings views. Three types work:
Behind the scenes of a delivery
How you set it up, how many takes, what gear you used. Brands can see whether you know how to work.
Your version of a known ad
Take a product already being advertised and film your cut. It is the most convincing portfolio there is.
A short explanation of a brand problem
It places you as someone who understands the job, not just someone who films.
The availability signal
Many Spanish creators never say clearly that they take work. One explicit line ("open for UGC collaborations, message me") changes more than ten extra posts, because it removes the doubt for someone who was about to write and did not know whether they were intruding.
How long it takes
Two to three months of consistent posting in the same category before enquiries become regular. Outreach pays now, inbound pays later, and you need both.
