UGC MATCH is a marketplace where brands hire independent UGC creators, pay into a secure Stripe escrow, and only release the money after approving the video. Joining is free, there is no subscription and no listing fee: the platform earns a 10% commission only when an order is completed. Here is exactly how the process works for a brand, from the first search to the final approval.
What is UGC MATCH?
UGC MATCH connects two sides: brands that need authentic short-form video (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, paid ads) and creators who film it with their own phone, face, and voice. Every creator publishes a public profile with a portfolio and ready-to-order packages: a name, a price, and a delivery time that the creator sets.
There is no agency in the middle and no opaque quoting process. You see the price before you order, you brief the creator directly, and the platform secures the payment. New to the format? Start with our complete UGC guide for brands.
How does ordering work, step by step?
Seven steps. Most brands go from search to placed order in under an hour.
- Search and filter. Browse the UGC creator catalog and filter by niche (beauty, fitness, tech, food), language, and market to match your audience.
- Review profiles. Each profile shows portfolio videos, the creator's packages with transparent prices and delivery times, and reviews from completed orders.
- Order a package or request a custom quote. If a package fits (for example "1 vertical video, 30 to 45 seconds, 5 days"), order it directly. If your project is specific (multiple videos, raw footage, extended usage rights), send a custom quote request and the creator prices it for you.
- Pay into escrow. You pay at checkout through Stripe, but the creator does not receive the money yet. It is held in escrow while the work happens.
- Receive your video. The creator films and delivers inside the platform before the deadline, so everything stays documented in one place.
- Request revisions if needed. If the delivery misses the brief, ask for a revision with precise feedback.
- Approve to release payment. Once you approve the video, the escrow releases the payment to the creator and you download your files. The order is complete.

How much does UGC MATCH cost for brands?
The pricing model is deliberately simple and has no hidden layers:
- Free to join. Creating a brand account, browsing creators, and messaging costs nothing.
- No subscription, no listing fee, no credits. You never pay to access the catalog or to post a request.
- 10% commission, only on completed orders. The commission is our only revenue. If an order is never completed, you are not charged a commission on it.
- Creators keep 90% of what you pay, which keeps quality creators on the platform and prices honest.
What you actually pay per video depends on the creator's own package prices. To budget realistically before you order, see our breakdown of how much UGC costs.
Why does escrow protect your brand?
Paying a stranger on the internet for a video that does not exist yet is the core risk of UGC. Escrow removes it.
When you order, your payment is held by Stripe, not sent to the creator. The creator sees the order is funded, so they can start working with confidence. You see that your money will only move when you approve the delivery. If the creator never delivers, the order does not complete and the payment is not released.
The incentives line up: the creator delivers on time and on brief, and you never pay for a video you have not accepted.
Which languages and markets can I cover?
UGC MATCH runs in four languages: English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese, with strong creator coverage in France and Brazil. That matters for two reasons:
- Native content converts. A French audience trusts a video filmed by a French creator in natural French. The same logic applies to Brazilian Portuguese for the Brazilian market.
- One platform, several markets. If you sell in multiple countries, you can order localized videos from native creators in each language instead of dubbing one video.
How is it different from Collabstr, Billo, or Fiverr?
Honest answer: the core idea (marketplace plus escrow) exists elsewhere too. The difference is the model. Some platforms charge brands a subscription or sell credit packs before you can order; on UGC MATCH there is no subscription and access is free. Fiverr covers every service imaginable; UGC MATCH only does UGC video, so profiles, packages, and delivery are built for that one job. And because creators keep 90%, pricing stays transparent instead of inflated to absorb platform fees.
We would rather earn 10% on orders that actually complete than charge you before you have seen any value.
How do you get started?
Three actions, all free:
- Create your brand account at signup for brands. It takes two minutes.
- Shortlist creators whose portfolio matches your product and audience.
- Order a first package as a test. One video is enough to judge fit before scaling to a batch.
Start small, judge the delivery, then scale with the creators who perform.
FAQ
Is UGC MATCH really free for brands?
Yes. Signup, browsing, and messaging are free, with no subscription or listing fee. You only pay the price of the videos you order, and the 10% commission applies only to completed orders.
What happens if I am not happy with the video?
You can request revisions with specific feedback before approving. Payment is only released from escrow when you approve the delivery, so you never pay for a video you have rejected.
Can I get videos in French or Brazilian Portuguese?
Yes. The platform operates in English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese, with strong creator coverage in France and Brazil, so you can order native-language videos for each market you sell in.
Do I have to use a creator's existing package?
No. You can also send a custom quote request describing your project, and the creator will price it for you.
