Five things, in this order.
The real condition: the bodywork in natural light, the wheels, the interior not cleaned for the video.
The boot really loaded: the shopping, the pushchair, four people's luggage.
The noise inside at a steady speed, filmed with no music.
The space in the back seats with somebody of one metre eighty in front.
And the history: servicing, mileage, what has been replaced.
One production rule: film at eye level, not in catalogue shots. What reassures here is seeing what will be seen on site.
The figures that are never improvised
Three families of information fall under precise rules and are checked before the shoot.
Fuel consumption and emissions values, which must match exactly the official data of the model and version.
The financing: monthly payment, deposit, term, total cost, mandatory statements. No improvised sentence, no rounded figure.
And public schemes or subsidies, whose conditions change and cannot be summed up in one sentence.
Three simple rules. Those elements are displayed on screen in the wording supplied, they are not said from memory. They are checked with a lawyer and with the competent authorities before publication. And a video containing them is dated, because it will have to be taken down when they change.
Which creators to engage
Three credible profiles, and none of them is a car influencer.
The person using this type of vehicle every day for the same thing: commuting, worksite, large family.
The mechanic or the workshop technician, for the technical part, filmed in their environment.
And the second-hand buyer, talking about the model after a hundred thousand kilometres. It is the rarest and most watched testimony.
One profile to avoid: the creator trying a car for the first time on the day of the shoot. You hear it in the first sentence.
The format that fills the dealership
One only, and it lasts three minutes.
The complete tour of a specific vehicle, in one take, with no cut: exterior, interior, boot, flaws included.
Three reasons for its effectiveness. It shows what the person will see on arrival, so it removes the bad surprise. It gets shared in private messages, which is exactly this trade's channel. And it is produced in twenty minutes, which allows one per vehicle.
One useful complement: the same video shot by the person who greets visitors. The audience comes to see a car, but it comes to meet somebody.
What is never filmed
Four prohibitions, without exception.
A readable number plate, or a vehicle document containing personal data.
A manoeuvre breaking the road rules, even off the public road.
A named comparison with a competitor without a documented measurement and prior approval.
And a promise of performance or consumption not appearing in the official data.

What is prepared before filming
A clean vehicle, a masked plate, a private or authorised location, and a driver who is not the person filming. No shot justifies taking a risk.
What is never claimed without a document
A consumption figure, a range, a power output, an emission value or a delivery time. Those come from the official specification, to be confirmed with the manufacturer.
The calendar
Two periods concentrate the year.
Spring, when servicing, tyres and purchase plans start again together.
And the end of the year, when registrations and limited-series offers play out.
One production consequence: film vehicle tours continuously, all year, because stock changes every week. Keep the explanatory formats, which take longer to produce, for the quiet periods of summer and January.
