Car buying in Mexico is a long, cautious process and the showroom photo is the least useful asset in it. Everything that decides the purchase happens in details a catalogue image deliberately hides.
The dealership video that actually works
Not the exterior beauty shot. The boot with a real suitcase in it, the back seat with a child seat fitted, the ground clearance on a bad street, the infotainment screen doing the thing people use it for. Buyers are checking whether the car fits their actual life.
Parts and accessories are the volume category
Floor mats, covers, roof racks, audio, tyres. These sell online in enormous quantities and almost every listing is a manufacturer photo. A thirty second fitting video showing that the part actually goes on the car is the single highest converting asset in this category.
Show the used car honestly
The used market is huge and buyers assume they are being deceived. A walkthrough that names the scratch and shows the mileage builds more trust than any amount of polish, and it filters out the buyers who would have complained on arrival.
Mexican road conditions are part of the pitch
Topes, potholes, altitude, unpaved stretches. A suspension or tyre claim filmed on a smooth test track means nothing here. Film on a real street and the claim becomes credible.
Financing is the real objection
Most of the hesitation is about the monthly payment and the paperwork, not the car. A short, plain explanation of how the financing works, spoken by a person rather than a graphic, removes more friction than another exterior shot.
