In Germany it is not only the level of your price that matters, it is how you break it down. Clients here expect a quote that separates deliverable, revisions, rights and deadline, like any other media supplier.

How to quote like a media supplier
Instead of a flat price, itemise:
Deliverable: 1 video 30s, 9:16, raw file without logo
Revisions: 1 included, each additional 40 euros
Ad rights: Meta + TikTok, 12 months, Germany: 90 euros
Rush delivery 48h: +40%
Delivery: 5 working days after the product arrives
This format reads as professional immediately, prevents follow up questions, and makes later increases easier because it is clear which line is going up.
VAT and rights
Two points that belong together. If you charge VAT, always state the net amount first: company clients think in net terms. And keep ad rights on their own line, with platform and duration.
Folding rights into the base price to look cheaper is especially costly in Germany: the market treats them as a media asset and is willing to pay for them.
When to raise
More requests than capacity, reviews accumulated, quality improved. Then 10 to 20% every three or four months for new clients, with a month's notice for regulars.
