Santiago del Estero is one of the least covered markets in the country. There are barely any creators working professionally, and there are companies and public bodies that need to communicate with nobody to call. That is an opportunity, provided you know how to sell to someone who never bought.

Selling to someone who never hired

A portfolio alone is not enough here, because the person you are talking to cannot picture the result. What opens doors is a short sample made with the client's product or something similar. One concrete example is worth more than a hundred messages explaining what UGC is.

Agriculture, forestry industry and public sector

Santiago farming has grown a lot and with it the suppliers of inputs, machinery and services. Add the forestry industry and a provincial public sector that communicates constantly. Three client types with different budgets and timelines.

Identity is an asset

The chacarera, the Quichua language, the scrubland landscape and the popular festivals are strong identity markers. Local companies use them little and badly, and national ones do not know them. Content that genuinely sounds like Santiago differentiates far more than a well produced but neutral video.

The heat changes the shoot

In summer the midday hours are unworkable for exteriors. You film early or late in the day, and that has to be said to the client when planning rather than discovered on the day. It is a real constraint and it also justifies longer lead times.

Outside clients from here

Working for brands in Buenos Aires, other provinces or abroad is perfectly possible and completely changes your billing. Dollar pricing, a written exchange rule and payment by transfer. Living in a barely covered province does not oblige you to charge little.
