Fashion returns are expensive and almost all of them come from three doubts: how it fits, how the fabric behaves, and whether the size chart is honest. Creator video is the only format that answers all three.
Movement is the whole point
A garment on a hanger tells you nothing. Show the person walking, sitting, raising their arms and turning. Every one of those reveals something a photo hides, and each doubt resolved is a return avoided.
Show a real body and say the size
The single most useful sentence in a fashion video is the creator saying their height and the size they are wearing. It costs nothing, it takes two seconds, and it removes the guess that causes most size returns in Mexican ecommerce.
Fabric needs light, not description
Sheer, stiff, stretchy, heavy. Hold the fabric up to light, pull it, let it fall. Words like premium quality mean nothing to a buyer; the way a fabric drapes on camera means everything.
Climate varies enormously across the country
A jacket that reads as sensible in Toluca reads as absurd in Merida. If a brand sells nationally, film in more than one climate or at least avoid a setting that makes the garment look wrong for half the market.
Multiple creators beat multiple angles
Four creators of different builds wearing the same piece sells better than one creator filmed four ways. Buyers are searching for somebody shaped like them, and no amount of camera work substitutes for that.
