In tourism the booking decision is not made on beauty. Beautiful photos already exist, every property has them. The booking is decided on doubts, and creator video exists to remove them.
The four doubts that block a booking
- Where it actually is. Not the address, the route: how far from the station, the beach, the centre, on foot and in what time.
- What the room is really like. Real size, street noise, the actual view from the window rather than from the top floor balcony.
- What is around it. A restaurant open in the evening, a supermarket, parking.
- Whether the price matches. What is included, what is paid separately, the tourist tax.
A video answering those four points does more than the best photograph of the pool.
What Italian properties get wrong
They buy the drone video. It is spectacular and answers nothing. The drone confirms a desire that already exists, it does not create the booking. The first video to buy is the walk from the station to the door, filmed on foot, uncut.
The format that converts
The stay told in the first person, from check in to breakfast, in eighty seconds. People book when they can picture themselves there, and picturing requires the sequence, not the best shots.
Italian seasonality
Summer bookings start in January and concentrate between March and May. Art cities peak at Easter and in November. Filming in September to use the content in January is the cheapest choice and the least practised.
What to buy
One route video, one real room video, one neighbourhood video, and two hook variants for ads. One creator is enough for a single property, three if the target is international and language matters.
