In paid media the creative now does the work targeting used to do. The platform decides on its own who to deliver to; what you control is what appears on screen. That is why brands in Spain swapped one expensive film for ten creator videos.
The loop
Produce in batches
Eight to twelve videos per round, with different hooks, not variations of the same one.
Launch them together
Same audience, same budget, enough time to escape the noise.
Let the weak ones die
No attachment.
Cut up the winner
The hook that worked generates five variants in the next batch.
Refresh before the drop
Every creative tires, and the next batch has to be ready when it does.
What changes in the script
A hook in two seconds, the product on screen early, burned in subtitles because part of the audience watches without sound, and a concrete call to action.
The video has to look like the platform, not like an agency: genuinely vertical, daylight, feed rhythm.
The Spanish details
Dates concentrate media cost: the January and summer sales, Black Friday, Christmas and Reyes. The creative for those windows is tested before, not during.
And language is not a detail: if your audience is in Catalonia, the Basque Country, Galicia or Valencia, a version in the co official language can outperform the Castilian one, and almost nobody produces it.
What has to be written down
That the video may be boosted: those are paid media rights, with a term and a territory.
That it may run from the creator's account, if that is the plan: that is another product, with access, a budget cap and its own fee.
Without those two lines you will have finished creatives and stalled campaigns.
The most expensive mistake
Judging a creative on one day of data and changing creator when the problem was the offer. Creative amplifies what exists: if the price or the shipping do not add up, more video only makes more people find that out sooner.
