Education is one of the largest advertising categories in Spain and one of the least imaginative. Language schools, vocational training centres, online course platforms, business schools and the enormous market of preparation for public sector exams all buy media constantly, and most of it looks the same: a smiling stock photo student and a promise.
Creator video works here because the product is a decision, not an object. Nobody can try a course before buying it, so the only real proof is somebody who did.
The formats that enrol people
The student testimony
Who they were before, what they were afraid of, what the first week was actually like, where they are now. Specific beats enthusiastic every time.
A day in the study routine
Especially powerful for public exam candidates, where the audience is people spending a year or more preparing and looking for a method.
The class fragment
Two minutes of real teaching, unedited enough to feel real. This converts because it answers is the teacher any good.
The objection video
Is it worth it, can I do it while working, what happens if I fail, what does it really cost. Each of these is a search query.
The outcome, honestly
Job found, exam passed, level reached. With dates and without exaggeration.
The claims that get brands in trouble
Education advertising is where exaggeration is most tempting and most damaging.
Do not promise a job
Employment rates need a source and a date, and a creator saying you will find work in three months is making a promise the school will have to defend.
Do not invent pass rates
If a centre quotes a figure, it must be able to prove it, and the creator should attribute it to the centre.
Be exact about accreditation
Official, accredited and certified are legal words in Spanish education. A private certificate is not an official qualification, and blurring the difference is the fastest way to a complaint.
Price and terms must be clear
Instalments, enrolment fees and what happens if a student drops out are not fine print in this category, they are the decision.
Practical notes for the brand
Pick creators from the audience you want, not from the top of the follower list. For public exam preparation, a candidate who is actually studying will outperform any professional presenter.
Give them a real teacher and ten minutes of access. The content improves immediately.
Agree usage rights with a term. A testimonial from a student who has since moved on should not run forever, and a person's academic path is personal data they have a right to control.
Plan around enrolment periods. September and January decide the year, and briefs must exist two months before them.
Where to go next
Education rewards honesty far more than production value. Our complete UGC guide for brands covers briefing, claims, usage rights and running creator content as a repeatable process.
