Training in France carries a rule that exists almost nowhere else: cold selling around the state funded personal training account is banned. It was banned because the account was abused for years by call centres and aggressive advertising, and the ban changed how training providers can grow.
For a serious provider, that is good news. It removed the noisiest competitors, and it made trust the deciding factor. Creator content, done honestly, is the most efficient way to build that trust.
What that means for a brief
You cannot buy your way to a student by interrupting them. You can earn one by showing what the training is actually like.
| Brief section | What to write |
|---|---|
| The student testimony | Who they were before, what they were afraid of, what the first week was really like, where they are now. Dates, specifics, no superlatives. |
| The class fragment | Two minutes of real teaching. It answers the only question that matters: is the teacher any good. |
| The objection video | Can I do it while working, what if I fail, what does it really cost, how long does it take. |
| The outcome, honestly | Qualification obtained, job found, level reached, with a timeframe and without exaggeration. |
| The day in the life | Especially for retraining audiences, who want to know whether it is compatible with their life. |
The claims that create legal risk
Do not promise employment
An employment rate needs a source and a date, and a creator saying you will find a job is making a promise the provider will have to defend.
Be exact about recognition
Certified, registered, state recognised: these are technical statuses in French training, not adjectives. Say exactly what the qualification is, and nothing more.
Do not tell people to use their training account in a way that implies it is free money. It is a funded entitlement with rules, and misrepresenting it is precisely the behaviour that got the sector regulated.
Label the partnership
Required by law, and doubly important in a sector with a trust problem.
Practical notes for the provider
Pick creators from the audience you want. A career changer talking to career changers outperforms a professional presenter every time.
Give access to a real teacher and a real classroom. Ten minutes of that is worth more than a scripted testimonial.
Agree usage rights with a defined term. A student who has moved on should not appear in your ads forever, and their academic path is personal data.
Plan around enrolment periods, and brief two months before them.
Where to go next
Training rewards honesty because the alternative was made illegal. Our complete UGC guide for brands covers briefing, claims, usage rights and running creator content as a repeatable process.
