Finding UGC creators in Germany rarely fails on supply. It fails because profiles are hard to compare and because many brands filter by reach, even though reach is close to meaningless for UGC.

Where German brands look

ChannelWhat it gets you
Creator marketplacesWhere packages, prices and delivery times are visible before the first message.
TikTok and InstagramFiltered for people who have already filmed your product category.
LinkedInFor B2B and recruiting content, a channel almost nobody uses for UGC.
AgenciesWhen twenty variants are needed in a short window.

Assessing a profile in two minutes

  1. Category. Have they filmed tools, supplements or household appliances? Category experience saves you approval rounds.
  2. Tone. Do they speak like your customers or like a commercial? The second is available everywhere.
  3. Audio quality. Bad sound makes a video unusable, however good the picture is.
  4. Clear packages. Price, timing, variants, revisions. If that is missing now, it will be missing in the project.

The three checks before booking

Ask for an unpublished sample

It shows what comes out without a curated gallery.

Settle the rights in writing first

Channels, duration, territory.

Start small

One video per new creator. Three creators in a test say more than three videos from one person.

How to recognise a good partner

They ask questions back. Anyone who asks about audience, licence duration and channel before sending a quote has worked for a brand that asked those questions before.
