Most Argentine creators start while holding a full time job. It is the most sensible way to begin, and also the one that raises the most questions about what is allowed and what is not.

You can register and invoice

Being employed does not stop you registering so you can invoice on your own account. There are regimes designed for exactly that and an accountant will tell you in ten minutes which applies to your situation. What is not advisable is taking payment without documents for months and regularising afterwards.

Read your employment contract

Some contracts carry exclusivity or non compete clauses. If you work at a company and are about to make content for its direct competitor, that is a real problem. Reading it once, before taking your first client, avoids a conflict that is not worth having.

Do not use work resources

Organise the week properly

Two evenings and one weekend slot are enough for two or three videos a month. What does not work is trying to answer client messages during working hours: you end up late on both sides. Set a slot for replying and tell the client about it.

When to make the jump
