Argentine podcasting has grown a lot and brought loyal audiences that are cheap to reach. But a read mention on its own is forgotten within minutes. Combining it with creator content is what turns an attentive audience into customers.
The mention and the video reinforce each other
Someone who hears a recommendation and then sees a video of the product in their feed closes the loop. Separately, neither is enough. That is why the dates should be coordinated: the mention runs the same week the creative starts, not a month earlier.
Let the host actually use the product
A scripted read is spotted instantly in audio, even more than in video, because there is no image to distract. Sending the product in advance and letting them speak in their own words performs far better than a perfect text that sounds read.
The episode video is separate material
Many podcasts record in video. That material works for vertical cuts, but it is the podcast's content, not yours, and its use has to be agreed. If you want to run the clips in your ads, it has to be written down beforehand, with channels and duration.
Niches before big audiences
A podcast with twenty thousand listeners on a specific subject converts better than a general one with ten times more. In audio attention is higher and affinity rules. Look for the show already talking about your category, not the most listened to in the country.
How to measure it
Audio gives no click data, so you measure with a dedicated code, a specific landing page or the simple how did you hear about us question at checkout. Without one of those three mechanisms the spend cannot be evaluated and the discussion runs on memory.
