In automotive, video does not sell the car: it sells the visit. Argentine buyers research for weeks before setting foot in a dealership, and what they see in that period decides which one they go to.
What buyers check before visiting
The boot with real things in it
A suitcase, a pushchair, the weekly shop. The spec sheet says litres; the video says whether it fits.
The back seat with someone sitting in front
It is the concrete doubt of any family and almost no brand shows it.
Real consumption, not the declared figure
A specific route with the number at the end converts enormously.
The interior without filters
The plastics, the stitching, how the door sounds when it closes.
The cost of ownership
In Argentina this is a central objection: servicing, parts, insurance. Answering it on video is rare and very effective.
Which creators to hire
The one who resembles your buyer, not the one who makes spectacular reviews.
A father testing a people carrier converts families. A tradesperson testing a work pick up converts tradespeople. The technical review with drone footage impresses and sells less.
For used cars and multi brand dealerships, a local creator from the area works especially well: geographic trust weighs heavily in a purchase of this size.
The brief that produces good material
Include: which exact version is filmed, what must be shown, the segment's main objection, three hooks, the disclosure wording and the list of what cannot be claimed.
That last point matters: consumption, power and safety figures are regulated data, and the risk falls on whoever communicates them.
The format that fills the showroom
The most effective is not the review: it is the dealership walkthrough. Someone showing what arriving is like, how they were received, what they asked and what they were told.
It reduces the friction of the first visit, which is exactly the barrier separating an interested party from a buyer.
The Argentine calendar
The peaks are Hot Sale, Black Friday, the last days of each month because of sales targets, and the start of the year with savings plans.
